I'm Quia, a New York City native who found a familiar solace in the fashion and culture explosion Dallas has experienced in the past few years. I couldn't be here at a better time, too. Back in 2002, I discovered that I could shop, eat, party and go to events and people would actually pay for the same kind opinions that I'd post on my blog anyway. Since then I've been a contributing writer for a number of publications including Dallas Observer, D Magazine, Dallas Home Design, Houston Monthly, Modern Luxury Dallas, Re:D, BlackAmericaWeb.com, BET.com and Allhiphop.com. For the past three years, I've given visitors the inside hook on Dallas shopping via Where Dallas magazine. Some of my favorite places to spend my hard-earned money are: NorthPark Center, West Village, Target, and Mockingbird Station.
