Ed McCourt, aka fast eddy, is a cheap bastard who spends most of his time trying to swindle corporations out of money both to benefit his subscribers and, of course, for his own personal gain. He is also an instructor of Composition and Literature at the University of Connecticut, a writer of creative non-fiction, and an expert at composing third person narratives about himself- primarily due to his robust ego. To round out the picture, he is also a part time foodie, Celtics season ticket holder, die-hard Troy Brown fan, anti-bandwagon Red Sox fan, progressive rock junkie, whiskey drinker, bass fisherman, and purveyor of fine cheeses (yes, this last one is a lie, but he wishes it wasn't with every fiber of his being).
